Yes, I also think that as his captaincy has made India reach no.1 spot atleast for some hours. And also he has made our team win T20 worldcup for the first time. Also he plays captain’s innings when India needed the most.

no way…. let me justify dhoni never comes into bat under intense pressure,he is the reason dravid is not in odi team,he is selfish,takes credit for what team has done though he personally did not do well,he plays properly only on the subcontinent pitches and sucks on english,aussie,nz,sa pitches…..The best talent he has is talking even though i don’t like him he has this talent of talkin and journo out with ease…..otherwise he is an absolute waste.Take example of CSK he did not play well on the sa pitch,never batted under pressure etc….. he is not even ordinary
Yes..He is the kind of one who save our team when needed….If wickets are few he will stand and play…If their is Pressure in matches like t20 he will just slog out….
No way. Look at Kapil Dev, he won the ODI World Cup. Pataudi is another who has done well. These two as captains never had the fire power that Dhoni has under him. Look at who is in Dhoni’s team. Tendulkar, Dravid, Gambhir, Sehwag, Dhoni. This team should be up at the top in all forms of cricket. That they’re not doesn’t make it look good for the captain.

If you take Test and ODIs combined, you would see that Indian team has accomplished alot more under Ganguly’s captaincy.
He can be rated as good because of his temperament so necessary for a captain.He also leads by example,with his own brilliant performance

Yes, I think he got the attitude of aggression and smartness enough to with stand the mind game the cricketers play today see how he tamed Australian ill wits on the field. He is definitely one of the top ranked Indian captain.
Saurav Ganguly is still the best captain as he groomed up many international players for country and also very good as strategy making. Dhoni seems to be riding on his luck. He is captain for two years but still he has not been able to groom even one youngster.
he is one of the best captain . and to the loser who calls himself sidhu he always come to bat at time of pressure. have u ever watched cricket? if u had u wont talk like this. many matches he has stayed and helped India to win under pressure. he is still the no 1 in one days. Dravid is not a one day cricketer. he is a test only player and Dhoni did indian cricket good by keeping him out. Dhoni is not as selfish as Dravid. Dravid conspired with Chappel to keep Saurav out so that he can remain the captain.
No way, he is always dependent on luck which does not support him now, and that’s why we are getting only loses.
A definite ‘NO” as far as Test Cricket is concerned. His field placings and bowling changes are not upto the mark. He has to improve a lot.

This time he is handling a well balanced team. He plays only for his record, he doesn’t play for India.

He is a good palyer but when it comes to captaining our team he can’t stand a chance against Mohammad Azharuddin and Sourav Ganguly. Even Kapildev was also a good captain.
