MS Dhoni: Dhoni would be banking on his captaincy skills as well as on his luck to win this match. His batting hasn’t been considered even of average by his own standards. A win here would give him some real confidence ahead of the World Cup. For India’s point of view Dhoni should win this, from IPL’s point of view, he shouldn’t. Deccan produced a sensational turnaround to win against Bangalore last time so should stick with the same XI. That means no room for Chaminda Vaas or Kemar Roach. Sachin Tendulkar: 7 more runs and he will be the top run getter of this current IPL season. Already beaten Sanath Jayasuriya for the highest run getter for MI in the match against CSK, it should not take more than 2 shots to pass King Kallis. Sachin Tendulkar would again remain the trump player for MI and mind you the skipper hardly disappoints either his team or his fans.

Harbhajan Singh: In last match he scored 16 runs in 3 balls against his biggest rival Symonds. This time though his rival is not as good Symonds but the same due to whom Bhajji had lost some 3 crore bucks. Yes the slap-gate controversy will be remembered when Harbhajan and Sreeshanth would play against each other on Tuesday night and no doubt Bhajji would definitely want to dominate his rival as he did against the Chargers. With the ball he is in top form and the kind of batting he shown in last match, is a bonus for team MI.

Yuvraj Singh: Prince of Chandigarh has not been in the best of form, however did feel that he is getting there slowly. With no captaincy burden on him, he should have been the one to go all after the attack. He needs to play a big role in the team’s fortune to turn it around.

Shaun Marsh: He was the star batsman of IPL season 1 where he was the highest run getter, however due to the National duty, could not join the KXI Punjab team in this season.
