First times are always great no matter what your doing…. your first job.. your first day in college and so on .. one of the most memorable times though is obviously when you first fall in love. Now for some its pretty difficult to remember theyre first time coz some jus dont remember when they had that thing for that one special person for the first time or the other lot are the self proclaimed ‘players’ who have forever lusted over the opposite sex. 

I for one have always considered the whole ‘wooing a girl around period’ most enjoyable and not from a guys point of view but from a girls point of view as well and although this may jus be my personal view i reckon as we grow up our priorities for liking a person and what we expect change. Whether its to do with serious relationships or to jus get laid coz everyone else is. For me Its the those 15-16 something times which are most memorable and not only for me i think even when i look at young kids that age.. apparently falling in love it stil evokes some great memories and jus gives that feel good vibe. 

So well what brought this whole thing to my mind … the other day I was taking a walk around surfers paradise and I saw a young couple about 16 holding hands and walking around lol… ( as if i didnt have enough to remind me of aziza already) .. but it also sorta put a smile on my face… and although I knew they would never get married (extreme apologies to anyone who is and have been together since they were 16) and probably wudnt last too long I bet they saw everything they ever wanted in eachother and its sweet in a way coz at that point of time more often then not ‘the future’ simply means the date your gonna be on the fillowing weekend or a trip to the arcade or pizza. 

The innocense of it is what really captivates me. I mean its not about how hot she is ( well may be it is but its not all plunging necklines and rising hemlines) may be its one of the first an last few times most guys appreciate a girls smile first time they see her… lol not saying they dont later.. or atleast thats what they say to the girls. Anyways, what interests me most is those awkward times before actually asking a girl out and whats even funnier is in India weve started calling it proposing to a girl.. lol though i can see why coz the first time your doing it, it is almost as much a big deal as proposing marriage. But im sure anybody reading this ought to remmeber the way things use to usually go atleast back in my day was when u liked someone you probably one of their friends to help get to know her and every step of the way was such a thrill. 

And thats I think the essence of what still makes that so special to me. When a simple smile from the person in concern makes your day, where you can wait hours on end around your phone to get one forwarded message which might or might have a hidden meaning of affection behind it.. lol and god does that give u the satisfaction of a lifetime. First dates have their own importance.. Now to all the rich freaks who had their sea side candle lit dinner with violins in the background bite me!!!.. lol but for most regular people its a movie or coffee or may be evn lunch.. and the most important thing that can make or break your date has got to be how and more importantly how much u have to talk about.. lol Coz i knw of a lotta people who had a million things to tell their girlfriends about… but soon realized sachin tendulkars last match score wasnt of a lot of importance to their dates.. but anyways for those previleged people who had the good first date.. the second step just gets more complicated.. 

But to get into that it would take more than jus one huge note to finish but frm then on its all about finding the right time to hold her hand or may be hug her and if ur lucky ur relationship might last long enough for you to have that magical first kiss.. But thats something id like to talk about in another time in another note.. but for anyone whose read this hope theyve thought of all the great times they had growing up and I hope to have brought a bit of a smile to their faces and given them some reason to may be remind them of the more innocent reasons to fall in love then the obvious ones we have now!!

A thrilling win in the final that too against arch rival Pakistan and a champion performance in whole tournament are the things which India was missing after 1983 world cup and 1985 Benson and Hedges series when Indian team did the same.

After 24 years Indian team is Champion again that too in the latest version of cricket. A young team led by a young leader displayed every aspect which are must for a champion team. Was it batting, bowling, fielding or keeping cool, all was there in Indian team. These are some of the cricketing aspects which mostly associated with Australian team.

When tournament started nobody was expecting that Indian team will be the winner because this team was full of youngsters, a new captain and the pillar of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar, Saurabh Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Zaheer Khan were missing. But the end result has shown that if you give confidence to young guns then they are the world’s most lethal weapons.

Now after this victory questions are raised by the public that should the senior trio of Tendulakr, Dravid and Ganguly hand over their ODI legacy to these young Turks.

Opinions on this issue are quite visa versa. Some former cricketers feels that twenty20 and ODI are all together different ball game and for ODI you need experience. Some feels that its right time to give responsibly to youngsters.

We also feel that it’s high time for hand over because

1. Tendulkar has already shown his intension of retirement from ODI.

2. Dravid too is not keen to continue in 50-50 games.

3. Ganguly still wants to play but his recent performances were not suited for the present style of One Day matches where most of the matches are high scoring match which means batsman has too consume less balls for more runs.

4. Experts says that in 50-50 over match player has to play according to the ball but we want to ask them when teams are scoring on average of more then 6 runs per over in every third match then where is the time to go slow and wait for right ball to hit. ODI’s have become more or less bigger version of twenty20 these days.

5. The biggest problem with these seniors is their fielding. We all have seen that a good fielding can change the whole tempo of the game and this was the biggest factor for Indian teams success in twenty20.

6. We have now a young captain M S Dhoni for ODI. Dhoni led the young team remarkably in T20 but when these seniors will be around he will not feel as comfortable as he feels about younger lot.

7. One of the major factors of Ganguly’s success was that he built his team. He roped in young players and polished them and we reached the finals of 2003 world cup. Let the same thing happen with Dhoni, let him make his team. We might loose series against Australia, Pakistan but slowly for the 2011 world cup a strong team will be there.

8. Pick these young players when they are in good form like Rohit Sharma, Joginder Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Manoj Tiwari, S. badrinath and many more in waiting. Throw them against good teams like Australia and Pakistan and let them know what the pressure of big matches is and let them learn to overcome from it.

9. Last but not the least, Tendulakar himself has said that Indian cricket is now on in safe hands.

So we all know that selectors will be forced to choose these legends for every match and youngsters will be told to wait, for how long God knows.

We also know that in test cricket nobody can replace these legends at present and we need them there but for other form of cricket these legends should come forward and say that let the future of modern cricket be handed over to young players and we will continue to serve in the test form. So that people will remember not only their contribution to Indian cricket but their gentle gesture also.

Is sachin greatest batsman of all time …this is the most talked about topic after his great knock of200.Nasir Hussain recently said that tendulkar is greatest ..greater than lara ,ponting, Richards,gavaskar,border and greater than don bradman…tendulkar is one of the greatest batsman of all time and no one can deny that he is the greatest batsman after sir Donald bradman.but now the question is that is sachin even greater than bradman.

If most of us is telling that sachin is the best ..there should be some logic behind that ..we cannot always say bradman is greatest .gavaskar  always says that sachin has perfected the art of batsmanship.now we all have to know what is art of  batsmanship. Gavaskar is simply saying that sachin’s batting is perfect but bradman was also perfect .tendulkar’s balance in crease is great ..every other great batsman has this quality ,then why should we term tendulkar as  greatest.

According to me there is one thing in which even bradman is behind the little genius .tendulkar has carried  the expectations of 1 billion people for almost 20 years .no player in the cricketing history has always played under such pressure .

Everyone will now say tendulkar played with protective gears and on  the pitches that helped batsman.that’s true but tendulkar played against warne and murali …two of the greatest spinners of all times .bradman was never against such kinds of bowling. …and ask them they will say tendulkar is greatest.once warne said if bradman is considered better than tendulkar it is good that he is an Australian.tendulkar played against the greatest team of all time ..the mighty Australian team (2000-2005) and see his records against them.the bowling attack of this team was greatest of all time …many will argue that the best bowling attack was the bowling attack of west indies in seventies but according to me that bowling attack was unidimensional and they do not have a spinner like shane warne.tendulkar played for a country which for many years depended upon him for their success,bradman played for a country which was best at that time and which many will consider the greatest team of all time.

There is one aspect in which tendulkar is behind bradman and even lara …they won more matches for their country.but tendulkar nowadays is doing same for india .if I would have written this article 2 years ago I myself should have written that bradman is way ahead of sachin but considering the fact what sachin has done in recent years I should say that tendulkar is as great as bradman if not more and tendulkar wil considered as greatest batsman if he could do that last thing what we all expect him to do ..win a world cup for india and if he will be able to do so ..I will consider him the greatest batsman of all times but for now he is tied with sir donald bradman as the greatest batsman of all time.

We can see the results of matches between India and Australia. Old hats like Sachin leaving the pitch at ZERO score. Is it not best time to kick out old hats like Sachin and get young blood for team. Volunteerily they will never leave the team even after World Cup of 2024.
